The word of the Lord came to me saying,
My people are searching for prosperity and deliverance only to be led to emptiness because of their pursuit of brokenness, I the Lord their God have turned my face from them.
My people are avoiding their first love to chase after earthly rulers and because of their reckless pursuit it fills their souls with sorrow. My people have done wrong and their actions are detestable in my sight.
My people enjoy the company of the enemy, yet they expect Me to bless them.
My people have forsaken Me their true love, their first love. I AM the God that has a reckless love for them. I AM the reason that the sky is blue, the reason the clouds roll in. My people have left Me to follow idols. They’re disrespectful in My eyesight.
My people are an unfaithful generation. I AM grieved by their actions. I AM saddened that they aren’t happy with Me and would choose other deities over Me. Through this grief, anger is burning within Me.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV).
My people don’t want to be the reason I strike their land with calamity. My people shall no longer walk away from My ordinances and covenant.
“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near (Matthew 3:2 NIV).”
People of God, REPENT and turn from your wicked ways. We will no longer forsake God for idols. The Lord is our shepherd, our great defender, our living water, and our resources. He meets our spiritual needs like no other. The Lord deserves to be respected for His mercy and goodness that gives us assurance. The Lord has been faithful to us and He has never failed us yet. He deserves our submission and praise.
This is the day that will be reconciled to the Father and be faithful to keep all His commandments.
