Ditch the Paper Planner? Or Not?

Last year my calendar started filling up quickly. On top of that I had goals that I needed to cross of my list. To top it off I was trying to keep up with everything in my head. Don’t judge because you’ve done it too!

You would think I had it altogether and was well organized. But, I was all over the place. I was missing appointments, over booking myself and just overwhelmed. This was not my normal way to operate and I was losing a grip on keeping up with everything that I needed to do.

As you step into God’s plan you must find balance – learning how to juggle everything, prioritize what’s more important, and being okay with not being perfect – missing a deadline or two and even learning to say “NO, I can’t do it.”

To be honest, I was ready to get back to my normal - my well planned and organized life.

Let’s talk about planners.

Whether you choose a paper planner or a digital planner it’s totally up to. I mean if you can afford an assistant to keep you on track – GO FOR IT. I haven’t arrived at this status yet.

Deciding to grab a planner changed my life. It’s a pretty planner but on the inside it’s lots of appointments, goals, tasks and reminders. When I wake up I know exactly what I should be doing and why. My planner keeps me sane and keeps me balanced.

It works for me. I challenge you to find a planner system that works for you. I love using my planner and I am never ditching my paper planner because I like to write everything out and cross it off when it’s done.

If your to do list is piling up grab a planner and get organized for the remainder of the year.

Oh, and let me know how it’s working for you!
